Ok,
We have a client that stores about 4.5 million files randing in size from 10K to 100MB on a windows server. We have tried using R-sync, A-lways sync and others to replicate these files to a remote storage for archival purposes (files are static, don't need to back them up regularly). The problem is that R-sync and other sync utilities usually choke while trying to hash and then upload these files (even on servers with plenty of RAM and CPU), others quit because of the long path's (files are generated by machines and have serial, long names in folders with long names (Example of a file name: Alpha_385629672967486572211_run10_unit_06870246742062.st, folder names are as long and many levels deep).
Has Cloud Edition been tested with large number of files or long file names? It may be a good fit for our client, especially if this product can pick up files only older than x days/months.

Re: Cloud Edition - any known limitations or use suggestions
Veeam Backup and Replication Cloud Edition itself doesn’t have any limitations regarding length of file names or number of files.
Theoretically, some constraints might be related to Cloud Storage. So, if these files are copied to Cloud, it might be worth redirecting these questions to Cloud Provider in order to get more subtle answer.
Additionally, be aware that in case of you storing these files locally or copying them to file share, it is file system that is limiting acceptable file name length, etc.
Furthermore, keep in mind that not only file itself is copied by VB&R CE, but also total folder hierarchy.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
