Combine 2 separate B&R 7 systems to 1
Hi
We like to combine 2 B&R 7 instances to 1 (and remove second). It would be nice if we can export/import at least the jobs.
How can we do that ?
It looks there was a possibility to export job configurations over powershell in older version, but these export-commands are not longer available ?
Thanks
Markus

Hi Markus,
Even if you export job configuration via PowerShell, you will need to re-create backup repositories and map these jobs to the existing backup files. If you want to consolidate two backup servers into a single instance, you need to re-create jobs on one of the backup servers, re-create and re-scan repositories to populate Veeam backup console with VM backup files and then map new jobs to these files.
Thanks!

Hi Vitaliy
If I can export/import jobs, it would be faster and all settings are "migrated". Is it still possible ?
I agree with re-scan and map.
Thanks

Depends on the number of jobs to migrate Have you tried examples of PS command-lets mentioned in this thread > import export job?

Hi
I have seen this http://forums.veeam.com/powershell-f26/ ... t5849.html
But "Export-VBRJob" is no longer a valid Powershell command.
So, I'll do by hands
Thanks
Markus

In the referenced thread there is script that allows you to copy job settings; might still be useful. Thanks.
