Hello,
If auto config backup isn't configured (VBR 10), is there any way to recover the config jobs?
I use the free edition of veeam backup to backup some data in my lab, my NAS failed the other day which resulted in storage going away while VMWare was running. Most of my VMs are still OK, unfortunately the boot volume of my veeam server itself no longer works, windows will not boot. I'm guessing some system files have been damaged, but I can see the files when I attach the Veeam' servers C: drive (where veeam was installed).
Before I destroy the whole VM an start again, is there any way I can pull out the veeam backup config from the files on the file system? I didn't have backup job configuration enabled, I don't even know if I can do that on the free version?
Thanks!

Re: Config backup question
Hi Liam,
You can try to extract SQL Express(I guess that was your installation option?) database files, restore SQL DB to a new machine and map that to a new VBR server during installation or afterwards using Database Configuration Tool.
p.s. Please do use Configuration Backup in the future!
/Hope that helps!
