Configuration of Veeam NAS

Post by alex_ilie »

Hi. I have a question regarding the configuration of the VEEAM NAS when I run the INSTANT RECOVERY for a VM. Can it be configured? Can I specify the location of that NAS and the size? I have noticed that as default VEEAM is using the C partition of the server where VEEAM server is installed. It is ``cloning`` that partition as NAS, then it maps it to the vCenter as a DATASTORE (NAS). I want to have a centralized location for all these processes of INSTANT RECOVERY. Is it possible to configure this? Thank you! :?:

Hi Alexandru,

I guess talking about Veeam NAS, you are referring to Veeam NFS datastore, right? If this is the case, then you can change the default location by following these instructions: Changing vPower NFS Datastore

Thanks!
