A customer only allows emails to be sent through Register Securemail.
I am struggling to configure smtp on Veeam B&R for sending reports and alerts.
The parameters I have been given are:
Host: ssl://authsmtp.securemail.pro
Port: 465
User: smtp@*********.***
Pass: *************
Mail from: noreply@******.***
In theSMTP server field I omitted the "ssl://" part and ticked the "Connect using ssl" checkbox
Nothing seems to work so far. When trying to send a test message I get a dialog saying to check username, passwords and configuration.
Anyone has any experience on this?

Re: Configuring smtp for Register Securemail
Hi Lucio
Have you tried with host „authsmtp.securemail.pro“?
I never saw a smtp configuration where you had to put ssl:// at the beginning in the host field.
Thanks
Fabian

Re: Configuring smtp for Register Securemail
Hi Fabian,
yes, I tried with host "authsmtp.securemail.pro". This is what I meant when I saind that I omitted that part, but possibly didn't explain myself well.

Re: Configuring smtp for Register Securemail
Hi Lucio
I'm very sorry. I'm not an native speaker (english), so I misinterpreted the part.
We log the failed SMTP connection to this Log File: "C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\Svc.VeeamBackup.log"
Probably you see more information about the issue in this file.
But I recommend to open a support case to solve it.
I don't have a securemail mail address to test it in my lab.
