Hi there,
I have realised recently that making a Multi OS restore fails due not being able to contact the VMKernel network, this is a bit of an oversight on my behalf. I now need to work out how to get my physical server to talk to the vmkernel network, is this possible? and are there any issues with doing it?
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: connecting physical NIC to VMKernel network
Hello Richard,
I'm not sure what your question is about, but, basically, all you need to do is make sure your physical backup server is either on the same subnet as VMKernel or you have routing configured between the subnets.
Thanks!

Re: connecting physical NIC to VMKernel network
OK, thanks, from your answer there doesn't seem to be any concerns with doing this so I will give it a try and see how it goes.
