Console session timeout?

Post by signal » Sep 21, 2017 11:51 am

Hi

Is there a way to set a console session timeout? Something like 1 hour or 30 minutes? Default it seems like there is no timeout.

Do you mean the timeout for connection from Veeam B&R console to the backup server?

There's no such a timeout. Once connection is established, the session doesn't end on it's own. Do you have any particular use case in mind?

This is for a customer with strict security requirements, and one is to terminate inactive sessions after a given time.

This question has also been raised by the IT Security folks in my department.
This would be great to have implemented down the track.
