Controlled Folder Access

Hi,

Has anyone here experience using in 'Controlled Folder Access'? This is a service that is part of Windows Defender and it's marked as Ransomware protection in the Defender configuration.

It seems to be a good thing to have working on a Veeam repository server.

It would be interesting to see if anyone here has real life experience, good or bad using this for a Veeam repository.

Hello Jóhannes,

Not my personal experience but it could probably help. I know that there were a few support cases with issues related to Controlled Folder Access but all were resolved by proper configuration. Not much, but at least it should be safe to use.
