Controlling repo on Linux
We're running a CentOS 7 based JBOD as a repo. However, I can't find indications or documentation anywhere on how to control the VeeamRepo software. chkconfig --list and systemctl don't have any hints. Essentially, I want to know how to stop/start the service (plus any other info I can find.. jobs running, streams, whatever). Am I missing a KB somewhere on all of this?

Hi, the 'service' or VeeamAgent is just being pushed on the fly when a job starts via SSH.

Why would you want to control it btw?

Re: Controlling repo on Linux
I thought it was holding file locks open causing me to be unable to unmount disks.... which I realized I actually had a screen session open. Derp. Though, the bigger reason is to see if there are any running jobs. I know I could see this from the GUI, but I was sort of hoping there was a way to see if there was activity on the repo so I don't have to hit several places to know if I can reboot a box without interrupting transfers.

You can always look for veeam processes via "ps aux | grep veeam".
