Copy Job and GFS

I a have a daily job running as Incremental with a weekly Active Full on saturdays.
To that job I have added a Secondary Target to get an offsite copy every day.
Should I change something at the Backup job in order to get a daily copy?

How should the properties of the Copy Job be set to achieve 7 daily copies?
Job: Copy every x days?
Target: How many restore points?

And how about the daily backup job, could it be any type ie. reverse incremental, incremental or incremental synth - with or without active full? Or must it be a certain type to create daily copies using the backup copy job?

Correct, it could be of any type. With or without periodic full backups.

Backup copy job is not about direct copying of restore points, but more about synthetically synthesizing required restore points in "target" location from VM data in source backup repositories.
