Copy Job - Remove from Configuration
Was the option to "remove from configuration" removed for copy job backups? It used to part of the CTRL Right Click menu. I could remove from configuration, and then rescan the job back in, and map the copy job back to the backup. This would resolve some issues for us occasionally with jobs hosted in cloud connect.

Re: Copy Job - Remove from Configuration
I first noticed the change after we upgraded to 12.1, and this would be for copy jobs to service provider. You used to be able to CTRL + right click the backup data and choose "remove from configuration"

Re: Copy Job - Remove from Configuration
Can anyone confirm this change or provide an alternate way to 'remove from configuration'?
It appears Remove-VBRBackup powershell command does not work with backups to service provider either.

Re: Copy Job - Remove from Configuration
Hello Michael
Remove from configuration is available on my VBR server for both job types. For me, both Backup Job and Backup Copy Job has it available.
Have you already asked our customer support why you can't use a documented feature? Such technical issues require normally a support case.
Best,
Fabian

Re: Copy Job - Remove from Configuration
Thank you for that example.
The backups I wish to remove from configuration are under "Backups -> Cloud", they are backups stored on cloud connect, service provider.

Re: Copy Job - Remove from Configuration
You cannot remove from configuration backups that are stored on cloud connect repositories. Please reach out to our support team for assistance as they have a solution for this. Thanks!

Re: Copy Job - Remove from Configuration
thank you Veremin. Could you also confirm, for my own sanity, that the option to remove from configuration on cloud connect repository was removed recently? v12.1?

Re: Copy Job - Remove from Configuration
Veeam support was able to provide a working method in the form of a PowerShell cmdlet to remove service provider hosted cloud backups from configuration.
My case is # 07216766 if anyone in the future would like the cmdlet.
