Hi
One of my repositories has virtual bad blocks and i need to destroy the raid and recreate/re-initialize.
I'm going to manually copy off the good backup chain somewhere else, fix the volume and start a new backup chain on the fresh raid.
Do i need to first remove the repository from the veeam config, or can i just wipe it and recreate and it'll sort itself out when the next job is run?
Thanks

Re: Correct procedure for wiping a repository vdisk?
If you are going to destroy RAID and LUN/Logical drive, so it's better that remove it from Veeam and then destroy the RAID.
After recreation, add the drive to Veeam as repository.
After recreation, add the drive to Veeam as repository.
Best Regards

To remove the old repository from Veeam B&R, you would need to repoint all existing jobs to a new one first.

Unfortunately I don't have enough free space on another repository. There's only one job, so can be manually copied somewhere else, if i need it i'll just import it.

Then you can use the existing repository provided you keep the paths during maintenance.
