Hello,
i have a problem with the access to my iSCSI target.
According to this article (
http://www.jpaul.me/?p=334 ) i added my iSCSI target, and according to this link (
http://www.veeam.com/blog/using-the-isc ... -a-vm.html ) i configured disk management. The lun is marked as offline.
When i try to add a new backup repository, i could not see this target.
Can you help me?
Thanks
Tobias

The referenced articles speak about Direct SAN proxy mode and the required configuration steps, while you're trying to use ISCSI LUN as a target repository. In your case, you should make LUN visible in OS, bring it online, and configure volume on it. Thanks.

Ok thanks for this information.
I initialized the disk, created a volume (GPT disk) and selected a drive letter.
When i try to add the repository location, i could not find the iSCSI target.
What is wrong in my configuration? Should i format the volume with NTFS?
Thanks a lot
Tobias

Have you tried to configure an NTFS volume on it, as I've mentioned above? Thanks.

From the screenshot the volume is RAW, you need to create an NTFS partition on top of it and assign a drive letter.
