Our customer has policy to deploy endpoint protection on every servers.
We plan to deploy Hardening Backup Repository to improve security for backup data.
Could we deploy endpoint protection i.e. McAfee, FireEye on Hardening Backup Repository?
Please share and suggest.

Re: Could we deploy endpoint protection on VEEAM Hardening Backup Repository?
Hi Worawan and Welcome to Veeam R&D Forums!
There are no special suggestions, it will be anyway transparent for Veeam. Therefore, it's up to you to decide whether to deploy an endpoint protection or not.
Thanks!

Re: Could we deploy endpoint protection on VEEAM Hardening Backup Repository?
Hi,
There is two scenarios:
- Install nothing on your hardened to be sure there is no other ports than used by veeam.
- Install EDR agent on it, monitoring agent...
I will prefer the second scenario from my POV but keep in mind sometimes it means more exposure and you need to master it.
