Create CloudProvider Without Hyper-V installed

Hello,

i need a method to create CloudProvider Without Hyper-V installed or automate it.
I tried to use Powershell : Add-VBRCloudProvider -Adresse ...
but i get an error : VCP licence is required

I have some customer who dont have Hyper-V and i need to use VBR and endpoint with Cloud
Can i have another way or some help ?

Not sure I follow what you're doing. You're trying to create a Cloud Connect infrastructure in the client infrastructure? Or do you want to store Endpoint backups in your Cloud Connect infrastructure?

I want to store Endpoint backups in the cloud, but without Hyper-V installed i can't have "Backup Infrastructure > Service providers" in my VBR interface .

Direct EP backups to cloud repositories are not possible. Currently, you can only copy backups created by EP, using backup copy jobs pointed to cloud repositories.

In order to create backup copy jobs virtual infrastructure should be added first.

You're welcome.

Though, you can still let your customer store his EP backups in your repository and transfer those to cloud repository afterwards with the use of backup copy jobs.
