Dears,
I would like to make a FULL backup every month (one time per month) of our File Server and i would also like that the backup job stops after 24 months (2 years)
Is this possible with Veeam ?
As a backup mode should i use Reverse incremental or Incremental ?
If you have any ideas please let me know.
Thank you in advance

Re: Create new backup job
Greetings!
Here are settings you need to set on your backup job:
Job Settings - Storage:
1. retention policy: 24 restore points
Job Settings - Storage - Advanced:
1. Incremental (recommended)
2. [v] Create active full backups periodically - set Monthly - First - Sunday - Months[select all]
Job Settings - Schedule:
1. [v] Run the job automatically - Monthly at this time - 10pm - First - Sunday - Months[select all]
That will do the trick. You will have 24 months of Full Backups rotated by Veeam, each made on first Sunday of a Month.
If you want to stop the job after 2 years automatically, just add a task under windows scheduler to run in 2 years: to Disable the Job.
/Cheers!
