I would like to understand whether we can use Customer provided Encryption keys to encrypt data in VBR.

VBR reads VM or file data, encodes data blocks, transfers them to the target side in the encrypted. See: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120
Just to clarify, are you asking if customer can use own managed (rotation etc.) keys in order encrypt and decrypt data/file during backup/restore?
