database question

Post by flavor4real »

We had to restore the Veem DB to the prior day due the a corruption of today's DB. Nothing has changed in our Veeam configuration (Jobs,...).
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't have to restore the Veeam configuration file itself. Right? I've restarted a few jobs and they run fine so far.

Am I understanding right that you've restored the Veeam B&R SQL database (using native tools) and asking whether you need to restore Veeam B&R configuration from the backup as well? I would just restore what is the most recent, either DB or configuration, so that not to lose information about job runs occurred since the last backup. No need to restore both.
