Could someone tell me something about the requirement of Veeam VBR? The only thing I found is:
Microsoft SQL Server Express Edition should only be used for evaluation purposes or in case of a
small-scale production environment. For environments with a lot of VMs, it is necessary to install a fully functional
commercial version of Microsoft SQL Server.
Ok...but what is the meaning of "small-scale" and what problems may arise in future if I use the express (embedded) db?

Re: Database sql xpr for Veeam VBR
Hi Valentino,
SQL Server edition should be selected based on the number of protected VMs and planned backup job runs. The only problem that I can foresee when using built-in SQL Server is backup cosole performance if you go above 1000+ (based on my own experience) of protected VMs.
Thanks!
