DDBoost Performance?

Has anyone here with a DataDomain appliance done any sort of benchmarking / performance testing with DDBoost vs. DD via NFS? If so, how did you go about it? We just recently acquired a license for Boost and it appears to be faster, but I'm trying to figure out exactly HOW much faster and efficient it is. We've been happy with the backup performance of Datadomain and Veeam so far without Boost, so at this point I'm trying to justify the extra cost...
