Hi everyone, I've a question for you. I have to configure a backup copy job and I would strive to minimize the network consumption as the datastore is on the cloud... I was thinking about the compression level of the primary backup and...the question is... if I increase the compression/deduplication level of the primary backup, will the copy-job benefit sending less data?
Thank you!

Re: Deduplication and Backup Copy Job
Nope, it won't, as backup copy job has its own compression and deduplication settings. And those you have to configure in order for a backup copy job to send less data.
Additionally, if your SP includes WAN Acceleration in its offering, you can leverage that functionality.
Thanks.
