Hello,
I have a requirement to allow certain users to backup VMs that they are responsible for. Currently they are using VMware snapshots which I know is not the right solution as these snapshots are not backed up.
I would like to be able to delegate access (possibly through Enterprise Manager) to users and allow them only to run backup tasks for a particular VM that they are responsible for. Is this possible, and / or what would be the best solution?
We currently have vSphere 6.0 and Veeam 9.0.
Many thanks,
Stewart

Re: Delegation of Backup Tasks
Hi,
That is not possible to do out of the box, however I guess there should be a way to combine the Backup Operator role and vCenter permissions.

Re: Delegation of Backup Tasks
Can I give users permission to only run certain jobs?
