Delete backup copy jobs

Post by toreml » Nov 21, 2017 12:40 pm

Hi.

I have misconfigured a backup copy job.
I would like to reuse the name - so the question is - can I delete the job, and still keep the data from the backup copy job on disk for restore?
Or will the deleting of the backup copy job make the backuped data useless?

Regards
Tore ML

Removing backup job leaves backups intact, so no issues with the described scenario. Thanks.

Hi Tore,

Also, you can use those backup files for mapping to the newly created job. Thanks!
