Delete Replica doesn't remove the replica VM from disk?

My Hyper-V Replica host ran out of disk space over the weekend. To free some space, I excluded a couple of VM's from the replication job, then went to Replicas in the veeam B&R console and deleted the replicas for those VM's. The VM's were removed from the list of Replicas in Veeam B&R, but were not removed from disk or from the Hyper-V console on the host.

I was able to manually delete the VM replica from the Hyper-V console on the host, and then confirmed that the files were removed from disk.

Based on the documentation, I expected that the delete replica function would actually remove the replica VM from the host and from disk. Am I misunderstanding something, or is this not working the way it should?

Did you delete the jobs or did you go into the "Ready" section of the Replicas node and select the VM in question and choose to remove from disk?

If you choose remove/delete from Disk the replica VM and all of its restore points should be removed from the infrastructure.

You should be using this command to delete replica VMs completely.

Yes, that's what I did. Under Replicas, right clicked on a replicated VM and selected "Delete from Disk". This was after I had already excluded the VM from the replication job. I wouldn't expect that to affect the delete from disk behavior, but maybe it did?
