HI,
I have a job, that's failing on the replication, So I need to delete the replicas metadata snapshot files from the Replicas folder.
But the issue is I have 3 other replication jobs, and we are having a retention of 7 days; So there are 7 VM-xxx folders, and each of these folders have vbk files.
If I delete these VM-xxx folder, it mean I will be delete for all the replication job, and the next scheduled jobs will take more times for each job, as they will recreate the metadata files for the jobs.
So How can I identify which files are related to that JOB?

Re: Delete Replicas Metadata for replication JOB
The metadata subfolder for each VM contains the corresponding VM ID in its name (in v9.5 the folder name format is JobName_RefTargetHost_RefTargetVM). You can get the VM IDs from your VI and match them with the folders.

Re: Delete Replicas Metadata for replication JOB
Sorry for the late reply,
We were on the Vm 9.0, but now updated to 9.5.
But the old metadata files/folders are still in the old format names i.e only vm-208,vm-378 etc.
Dont know where can I check the logs, as in the reports its not listed.

Best would be to ask support for assistance via insight using remote webex.

You can also use MOB to get the VM IDs.
