Good day,
in a Veeam B&R environment, we have 2 Scale-out repositories that are unused. The related jobs are disabled. We keep on receiving the alert
[Error] Scale-out Backup Repository: Offside Backup Pool
that says the corresponding repositories are offline. How can I delete these repositories such that we do not receive this alert anymore? I already put them in maintenance mode. If I click on evacuate backups as described here
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120
(I do not want to evacuate any backups but I see it as the only workaround here) it states that there are no extends to evacuate backup to. How can I get rid of these scale-out repositories?
Best Regards

Re: Delete unused Scale-out Repository
Hi Wandbutt
Do you want to delete the entire SOBR or only a single extend?
Before you delete the entire SOBR, you must delete your backup jobs. Or point them to another repository. You cannot delete the SOBR as long as there are still jobs pointing to them.
Removing a single performance tier extend is done in the properties of your SOBR.
Evacuating backups is only needed if you want to keep your backups on other extends. If you want to move backups to another repository, you must use our <Move backup> feature. Extends cannot be in maintenance if you like to move the backups: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120
Best,
Fabian
