[VHRISO] Deleting the machine

Post by ffranceg »

Mod: split from post532222.html#p532222

Hi everyone, new question.
I installed Veeam Hardened Repository ISO as a test and everything worked fine.
Now I would like to delete the test server but I still have some backups in retention.
Since the vhradmin user does not have the command line and if I enable SSH I only have the veeamsvc user that does not have the privileges to remove the immutability flag, how can I fix this?
Thanks
Francesco

Hello,
and welcome to the forums.

"delete the test server": that sounds like the easiest way. Install another operating system and delete everything on the way.

If you want to delete manually, then using live boot is probably the easiest option. Then use the mount_datavol.sh script and remove the immutability flags manually as root with "chattr -i ..." and remove the files.

Best regards
Hannes
