Deleting unused Veeam Backup logs ?

Post by albertwt »

Hi People,

Can anyone here please assist me how to and which log files can be safely deleted in C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup directory ?

I need get more disk space since I'm going to perform inline upgrade of Win 2008 R2 into 2012 R2.

Thanks,

Hi, there should be a folder with log archives (large files), I recommend deleting those. Thanks!

Hi Anton,

Do you mean this folder C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup content is safe to be deleted while Veeam is curently running ?

there are multiple files with .LOG, .ZIP and also .GZ which is now growing to be 17 GB+

Deleting archived logs (ZIP and GZ) is safe. Also, you can adjust logs archival and retention settings according to your needs in future.
