Deployed VIA B&R Appliance on Proxmox not getting the correct console installer for windows

Hi,

we are just testing the appliance, but because the web interface is lacking some features, we downloaded the installer for the console directly from the web interface of our installation
Turns out our appliance has version 13.0.1.2067 but the supplied console installer download is for 13.0.1.180 (so I cannot connect with my console to the appliance), now I went to the download site of veeam, downloaded the whole 20GB installer for B&R and the supplied installer for the console is still 13.0.1.180 even though the download and version cleary state version 13.0.1.2067?

Could somebody tell me where to get the right package?

Hi Ramon,

This is expected behavior -- when you download the console from the Veeam Software Appliance, the base version of the console is first installed -- on first connection to the backup server, the remote console will prompt you to start an upgrade of the remote console components.

So if you still have the console installed, connect it to your backup server, it will prompt you to update.

Hi David,

it does not work for me, this process just keeps on loading and loading, eventually it will fail (I am in the same subnet as the appliance even), I am even being prompted to give my local admin credentials for my windows workstation.

Sorry to hear about the challenges, but as it's now a technical issue, please open a Support Case and let Veeam Support review the logs (you can download logs from the WebUI to upload to the case, you will also need to collect logs from the server where Remote Console is installed: manually create an archive of %LocalAppData%/Veeam and %ProgramData%/Veeam on the remote console machine and add those to the case as well)

Support will review the debug logs and advise on further steps. Please share your case number once created, thanks!
