Differences between build 6.5.0.106 and 109

Post by NightBird »

Hi,

What are differences between Veeam B&R 6.5 initial release build 6.5.0.106 and build 6.5.0.109 released on October 31th ?

Thanks

Quoting from weekly forum digest 2 weeks ago (by the way, I highly recommend that all Veeam partners follow this digest closely):
We have also updated the Veeam Backup & Replication 6.5 download last week, and the new build number is 6.5.0.109. If you have already upgraded, you do NOT need to install this build, as the only 2 issues fixed are upgrade-related. One issue is unexpected backup server reboot during upgrade - this is caused by some 3rd party software presence and only happens once (so, if you start setup again, it will finish fine). Second issue causes jobs missing from the Enterprise Manager after upgrade until they run for the first time. If you did not upgrade yet, then it makes sense to download the newer build - although the issues are very minor anyway, and have simple workarounds.

[MERGED] : 6.5.106 --> 6.5.109 Upgrade Question

Post by mhaug »

Is the upgrade from 6.5.106 --> 6.5.109 necessary, I am having difficulty finding the changes between the two versions.
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

hi if you have allready upgraded you don't need to apply version 109 as gostev says in his post and also in his forum digest.
