I have used the same reseller for Veeam for the last decade or so and always get excellent service.
Recently, I have been contacted a few times by representatives titled 'Inside Sales Associate Veeam Software' wanting a chat about 'Veeam Software Licensing Updates'.
My reseller looks after my needs for multiple products and always keeps me updated about changes - why the need for Veeam to get involved I wonder?

Hi David,
Not sure, but Veeam is 100% channel and does not do direct sales. Most likely, this rep wanted to share the updates on software licensing, I believe the same is done for resellers/partners as well.

Thanks for the confirmation. From my point of view, I would prefer the rep takes this up with the reseller/partner only - I get enough of this kind of contact from competitors already.
