Direct SAN - HP LeftHand - iSCSI Behavior

Post by Murigar »

Hello,

I am setting up Veeam 8 BR with Direct SAN utilizing iSCSI on HP LeftHand.
I have server 2012 setup with read only permissions to the SANs.

On server reboot the session is disconnected and a new one initiated. This causes a failure of the older session.
This reports in CMC as "Failed". It appears a new identifier is generated each reboot.

Is this expected behavior, or should it be gracefully closing the session?

Hello,

Can you please clarify a bit more on what errors do you see in the CMC? Do you have direct SAN mode working?

Thank you!
