Disable memory snaphost

Hi,

How can we disable memory snaphost permanently in snaphost operations in Veeam Backup Replication product? We want to exclude memory when creating snaphost.

Hello,
and welcome to the forum.

The software does NOT do snapshots of memory. There is no way to disable it manually, because the capability does not exit.

Hi HannesK,

"Snapshot the virtual machine's memory" feature is available when snapshot is taken manually in vCenter. While Veeam takes snapshots, the virtual server does not take memory snapshots?
When I test two different snapshot shapes on a Kubernetes cluster, if snaphost is taken with "Snapshot the virtual machine's memory" feature the servers are getting lags and sometimes they are disconnected from the network.

yes, that's what I said above and the link also states it Veeam does not tape memory snapshots.
