Disabled replication job still ran. why?

Replication job scheduled for :15 after the hour. At :30 I right clicked and disabled the job. Next Run column showed <disabled>.
Yet at the next :15, the job still ran!
What am I doing wrong? Do I need to restart the veeam service to make sure the schedule truly disables?

No, disabled jobs should never run. Can you please contact our technical team to verify this behavior? Meanwhile, remove job scheduling to make sure job is not triggered next time.
