We've got a 1Gbps link on which we wish to apply two different bandwidth throttles, but I'm concerned about the documentation that states we should avoid overlapping address ranges between throttles:
1. One throttle during business hours.
2. Another throttle outside business hours.
These throttles apply to the same address ranges, but at different times.
The business hours throttle is 500Mbps.
The after hours throttle is 700Mbps, but isn't time restricted.
Will the more restrictive business hours throttle take precedence over the after hours throttle, during the business hours?

Re: Do bandwidth throttles have precedence?
Hi Mark
If two throttling rules with the same ip or ip ranges (source and target) are overlapping, the lower bandwidth limit will be used.
Why not creating two rules with with different time periods as recommended?
