DotNetZip
Hello,
looking for the log files of a Restore, I saw that in the Log folder of an SQL cluster Backup Job I've several "DotNetZip.....TMP" files (stored on the Veeam Server "C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\Job_name\").
Are these files still useful or can they be deleted without repercussions?
We're using 9.5 U4b.
Thanks a lot.
Kind regards

Hi Gianluca,
I don't see anything similar in my personal lab. Could you please share a screenshot of those files?
Thanks

Re: DotNetZip
forgot to say that I use Agent Veeam for backup, because they are physical servers
How can I share an Image? I've the ScreenShot on my computer. No HTTP or URL external....

Re: DotNetZip
Just upload the images to any image hosting resource and embed a direct link to the uploaded image into the message. Imgur is a good example of such a resource. Don't forget to get rid of all the private info!
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Re: DotNetZip
Thanks for sharing. Now it's clear.
Logs are rotated regularly and aging logs are being archived into .zip archives. During the process .tmp files are created and then these are removed once the archiving is done. I assume in your particular situation the archival process was interrupted for some reason and that left the .tmp files in the directory. You may go ahead and remove the .tmp files manually or ask our support team for additional analysis of this behavior.
Regards,
Fedor

Thanks a lot.
For the moment I procede to delete them manually.
If I continue to have .TMP, I'll open a case.
Thanks again
Kind regards
Gianluca

Hello,
problem solved, thanks to the help of the support.
After numerous log checks and so on, everything was configured correctly.
The only possibility was to create a new job, which in fact he solved.
Thanks to all
