Download link for vSphere 5.0 patch?

Gostev - how come we need to contact Technical support for this patch? Surely there are enough people wanting this that there should be a download link for it? I've emailed tech support earlier this morning for the patch with severity 1 as we need it for a full backup tonight - no response after 4 hours. So I called tech support phone number, it said I was first in the queue and continued to do so for over 30 minutes, at which point I gave up / hung up...

Surely a link to this patch would save all this hassle?

Per definition of severity levels, this is - by far - not a severity 1 issue. Even if you set severity 1 when opening the support case, it does not mean that the support case will be handled according to this severity level. Instead, upon receiving the case, front line support engineer will review and adjust the severity level accordingly. Then, the support case will be put in queue with response time according to the actual severity level.

Asked at 10.50 GMT+1, received at 13.30, not so bad...
Installed, working with vspere 4.1 so far (one test backup, one instant recovery..)
"About" still shows 5.0.2.230 ?

Should the "about" still show version 5.0.2.230, even though the Hotfix file is clearly named 5.0.2.255 ?
