Veeam backup & replication Community-license

Hi

I'm wondering what is the limitations except 10 VMs/Physical machines of Veeam backup & replication Community. Let's say that if I want to use it in big corporate ( 5000+ servers ) to backup only 5 servers in small site can I use it or this free software can be used only in small companies with less than 10 servers in whole environment ? Sorry but this is not clear in licensing.

Hi,

Yes, you can use this version in any environment. Veeam B&R Community Edition has a limited feature set close to the Standard Edition plus the limit for protected workloads (instances), nothing related to the size of the infrastructure.

The only caveat with large infrastructures is that you cannot use multiple Community Edition installs within the same infrastructure. Otherwise, the size of your environment does not play any role.
