We have one backup job running on two virtual machines which are scheduled at 10:00 P.M. nightly. These normally take about 4-5 minutes according to the backup summaries.
We have an email notification configured to notify upon success, warning, failure, and we have the suppress option checked.
The backup job completes and we get no email.
At 10:00 A.M. the next day, however, we get the email notification of the completed backup. The email claims it was run in the morning instead of the evening, and it only took 17 seconds as opposed to 4 to 5 minutes.
Are we missing something obvious here? Where can we look to get the correct notifications?
