Hello there.
We have a bunch of older vbk files (also from the time there was no encryption) and I was just wondering if there is a way of encrypting the older files.
Also, is it possible to change the password on older files that have been encrypted?
TIA

Re: encrypt an unencrypted vbk file
Do you have .vbm files for those backups at hand? If so, create backup jobs, map them to the old .vbks, create a backup copy job with encryption option enabled, select the backup jobs as it source, and run the backup copy job. The resulting file will be encrypted. Thanks.
