Encrypt Backup after Backup Job

Is it possible to encrypt a backup file that was not encrypted at the time of backup? I copy local backups offsite each night using backup copy. My company just put an encryption policy in place and want all the remote backups encrypted now.

Hi,

Existing backups cannot be encrypted using Veeam built-in mechanisms. The only way to perform post-encryption without using third-party tools is to create a secondary tape job that will copy your backups to tape and select encryption in its settings.
