Encrypted backup and password required restore

Hello everyone. I need a backup feature and i'm mot sure if veeam 8 encryption provides it :

We have a departament who wants us to manage their backups. But when they need a restoration, they want to provide a password that only they know. So, despite that we manage their server backups, we cannot restore them unless they provide us the password.

Can this be done with the new encryption feature with veeam 8?

Hi, Alejandro. No, this is not possible in v8. Passwords are memorized on the backup server to enable painless restore operations within the given server's realm. Of course, if you try to copy a backup and import it in another server, you will not be able to restore it without a password. Thanks!
