Encrypting Backups

Hi,

I need to understand how encryption works with VBR and VEM.

We have VEM managing our VBR servers. In VEM, I see encryption key auto generated. I also want to generate encryption key per job level using a password and a hint.

My questions are:
1. Does this auto generated key in VEM being used?
2. If I create an encryption key using password and hint at a Job level, does these implemented together with the VEM generated key and User generated key?
3. Is there a way to create a User generated encryption key with password in VEM for centralizing purposes?

Hello,
encryption is described here

The passwords are set at job level in the VBR console of each VBR server. Enterprise Manager cannot configure the passwords.
