Hi.
We want to enable encryption on some backups.
What will the impact be on the system?
Think about:
* disk space on the storage - using ReFS storage
* system resources on the proxy
* time for the backup to run
Anyone have any experience with backup with and without encryption - and numbers regading the bullets above?
Regards

Re: Encryption of backups
1) No additional space is needed
2) Minimal effect on CPU usage, should be worried only, if backup proxies are already overloaded
3) No effect
Kindly, check this article for more information regarding encryption.
Thanks!
