End Time Sort

Post by mkaec »

If I sort the Last 24 Hours job list by End Time to get the most recently ended jobs at the top, the jobs in progress sort to the bottom. I think they should sort to the top since we know for sure that whatever end time they end up with will be later than everything else currently in the list.

Re: End Time Sort

Hello,
hmm, I struggle to reproduce... "list by End time" is only available for Success / Warning / Failed jobs. But these three types of jobs do not have "jobs in progress". "jobs in progress" are shown in the "running" section, but this section only has sort by "start time".

Could we maybe get a screenshot or more detailed description?

Thanks,
Hannes

Both Last 24 Hours and History have an End Time column and also show in-progress jobs. Here is a screen shot from Last 24 Hours.

It looks like because there is no end time just yet that it will not sort it to the top but a good feature request. If you wanted it at the top while in progress looks like sorting by Start Time instead would put it a the top of the list.

"Start Time" sorting will sort by "Start Time" and will not specifically filter running jobs to Top\Bottom, so if session has started in the morning and still running, it will be all the way below other sessions started later on that day.
I do like the idea of having still-running sessions on top with End Time sorting clicked. Will discuss it with devs.

/Thanks!
