Enterprise manager and dashboard view

Post by matteu »

Hello,

When I have a backup job with error, on the dashboard it appears 4 times because it's the 1st launch and then the 3 retries (by default).
Is it possible for EM to count only 1 error or not ?

I have customer with 3 VBR and he has maybe arround 40 error on EM dashboard but it's for 14 job and not 40. It's only retry error job

Hello,
no, it's the same like clicking on the Last 24 Hours "failed" section in the console. It also shows each retry.

Best regards,
Hannes

It could maybe be a good idea to only display one per job and only if the job failed for all retry no ?
It s easier for helpdesk team to manage only with necessary data.

I would use "protected VMs" Veeam ONE report instead of trying to monitor backups via Enterprise Manager

If you need to give advice to help desk team to monitor job result every morning you would say them to use protected vm in veeam one too ?

what's the reason to check backup jobs at all when the RPO is met? RPO met implies that it worked in the end.
