Enterprise Manager for Std and Ent. License

Post by sandsturm »

Hi

We have Veeam Backup Enterprise and Standard licenses in our company and with this more than one licensefile. Merging Std and Enterprise license files isn't possible as far as I know. Is it possible to add more than one license file to Veeam Enterprise Manager, so that I am able to manage all my backup servers from Enterprise manager?

Thx and regards

The Enterprise manager can only handle 1 license file so this isn't possible.

Niels is correct. However, you can manage several VBR servers of the same license with Enterprise Manager.
Please read this User Guide section for more information.

You could also spin up a second instance of Enterprise Manager. Use one instance to manage the VBR Std servers and the other instance to manage the VBR Ent servers. Or better yet, upgrade all the VBR Standard servers to Enterprise and make everything simpler. :-)
