Enterprise Vault & Veeam 8

Hello fellow Veeam lovers,

I have read the multi year old posts regarding backing up Enterprise Vault with Veeam but want to know if anyone on these forums are currently doing it and if so, Do you have any advice for us? We are about to Virtualize our Enterprise Vault environment and will be migrating our old vault over to it. we have that part covered with little to no downtime for the vaulting/archive service. What we are unsure of, is how Veeam will handle backing it up.

Ideally we would love to see support for it native to Veeam B&R and would like to avoid having to run manual scripts, but if that is the only working route, we would like to hear from folks actually doing it in their live environment and what their experiences are.
