[RESOLVED] Error: Client error: Failed to deserialize are

Post by jm16 »

Hi, I'm sorry I'm french and my english isn't very good.
I've a new problem with a Backup job and I don't know how resolve it.
The error : "Error: client error: Failed to deserialize area object because its type is unknown: [1321961299]. Unable to retrieve next block transmission command. number of already processed blocks: [69572]."

Others backup jobs on my veeam don't meet this problem.

Somebody could help me ?
Thank you for your help. :)

If the numbers in the error are different with each job run, then the issue is most likely caused by intermittent network connection drops.

Hi, I've some informations from the VEEAM' support.
Anton is right : the problem seems caused by intermittent network connections drops.
The VEEAM' support advises us to run the process of the following link : http://www.veeam.com/kb1113
They also advise us to upgrade VEEAM (6.0→6.5)

Thanks for your tips.
Have a nice day.

Hi Guys,
I had used "kb1113" too and this helped me.
Need i set back the "ctkEnabled" and "scsi0:x.ctkEnabled" values to true after successfull backup VM?
Thank you!

Hello, Dmitry. No, CBT is enabled automatically on the next job run (if enabled in the job settings).
