error in backup with this app :(

Please help me for this Problem :
I want backup from one of my Vm's ,
I create a backup job, and then start it
after 2 minutes, stop job with this Error : current license or esxi version prohibits execution of the requested operation

I have a valid licence for this version for 1 month Trial
but I can not backup with this

Hi Azita and welcome to the community.
The error usually means you leverage Free ESXi which is not supported, you need a paid VMware license.
As I understood you have a trial VBR license and free ESXi one, is that correct?

but I have an Esxi 6 with a licence key that show :

Product: VMware vSphere 6 Hypervisor Licensed for 1 physical CPUs (unlimited cores per CPU)
License Key: xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
Expires: Never

I guess so.
You can double-check it with VMware or your colleagues who are aware of payments.
P.S. Erased your license key number just in case it`s paid.

Yes, this would be free ESXi based on the product name (bare hypervisor).
